The PCA-6773 targets home automation, POS, Networking, and Kiosk/POI markets. To fulfill the critical demand of the these markets, PCA-6773 features a PC/104 expansion interface, large size display support ability, Ethernet LAN and yet still remains a cost-effective solution. The PCM-6773 comes with a VIA 8606 Twister T North Bridge integrated AGP 4X 2D/3D graphics accelerator. The Twister video chip will drive 18 bit/36 bit dual channel LVDS and TTL LCD Displays in addition to a standard analog CRT display.
The 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet controllers provide superior networking access ability. The CompactFlash socket can offer a larg solid-state Flash Drive for data storage of all types and the integrated AC97 2.0/Sound Blaster legacy audio provides crisp clean sound for multimedia applications. The PCA-6773's design is based on the small Half-Size ISA Card form factor and provides support for Standard ISA Card expansion through the use of a passive ISA backplane. EMAC can provide backplanes and enclosures for the PCA-6773.
