EMAC's Server-In-a-Box line of Embedded Servers are Single Board Computers built into small, rugged, Industrial strength Servers. These Servers are just as comfortable in the back of a closet as they are on a desktop while providing only the requred portions of the functionality from a conventional full sized server.

In order to toughen these servers EMAC utilizes a Flash Disk in place of a hard drive and removes the Fans found in other servers, providing a server with no moving parts. On the software side EMAC supports the most popular Embedded Operating Systems (OS), Embedded Linux, Real Time Linux, WinCE and XP Embedded. Furthermore EMAC can customize the OS build to meet your application needs if required. This custom build can be archived under a unique part number guaranteeing that you receive the correct build each time you order.

If application does not require a chassis/case or power supply you can utilize one of EMAC's Single Board Servers. These Single Board Servers can utilize virtually any Single Board Computer that EMAC sells. Just select an SBC, add flash, and select an OS along with any extra components you might need.

Single Board Servers

If one of the prepackaged SIBs listed above does not meet your requirements, you can opt to have virtually any one of EMAC's Single Board Computers (SBC) turned into an SIB. Just select your SBC of choice, your Operating System of choice, and any I/O Peripheral Options you require. EMAC can then integrate your selections into a custom SIB.
