The PCM-3353 utilizes an onboard Ultra-Low Voltage Fanless AMD Geode LX800 500 MHz processor, which makes the PCM-3353 one of the smallest and most energy efficient x86 SBCs on the market. The PCM-3353 gives developers a low power, low cost and scalable platform that can fit into the tightest places. PC/104+, PCI/104 and PC/104 expansion allows features to be quickly added using any one of EMAC’s many PC/104, PC/104+, or PCI/104 expansion modules. The PCM-3353 is perfect for applications such as data acquisition and industrial automation where low power in a limited space is required. The PCM-3353 uses its onboard Geode graphic chipset that provides excellent graphics performance and provides flat panel support using digital dual independent displays with CRT, LVDS, and TTL interfaces. An SDRAM memory capacity of up to 1GB is large enough to accommodate the latest operating systems, including Linux, RTAI Real-Time Linux, Microsoft Windows XP/XPE, Windows CE 6.0, Windows Vista and DOS 6.22. Four USB 2.0 ports are available as well as 4 serial ports (Three RS-232 & One RS-232/422/485). With its high grade reliability, the PCM-3353 can operate continuously at temperatures up to 140º F (60º C) without a fan. A Industrial temperature version is available that extends its temperature rating to -40º to 85 º C. The numerous features provide an ideal price/performance solution for industrial applications where stability and reliability (no moving parts) are essential.
